Organizations

Manage multiple organizations, invite team members, and configure role-based permissions for secure collaboration.

Creating an Organization

  1. Go to OrganizationsNew Organization
  2. Fill in organization details:
    • Name: Company or team name
    • Description: Optional description
    • Subscription Plan: Starter, Professional, or Enterprise
  3. Click Create

Organization Settings

Configure your organization:

General Settings

  • Organization Name: Update organization name
  • Description: Add or update description
  • Logo: Upload organization logo
  • Timezone: Set default timezone

Subscription Settings

  • Plan: Current subscription plan
  • Contractors: Number of active contractors
  • Billing: Monthly billing amount ($15 per contractor)
  • Payment Method: Credit card or bank account
  • Billing History: View past invoices

Limits

Each plan has different limits:

  • Starter: Up to 5 contractors
  • Professional: Up to 25 contractors
  • Enterprise: Unlimited contractors

Team Management

Inviting Team Members

  1. Go to OrganizationsTeam
  2. Click Invite Member
  3. Enter:
    • Email: Team member’s email
    • Role: Select role (see roles below)
    • Permissions: Configure specific permissions
  4. Click Send Invitation

Team member receives an email invitation to join.

Team Roles

Owner

  • Full access to all features
  • Can delete organization
  • Can manage billing
  • Can manage all team members

Admin

  • Full access to all features except billing
  • Can manage team members (except owners)
  • Can configure organization settings

Finance Manager

  • Can approve invoices and payments
  • Can view all financial data
  • Can export reports
  • Cannot manage team members

Operations Manager

  • Can manage contractors
  • Can create and submit invoices
  • Can view payments
  • Cannot approve payments over threshold

Member

  • Can view contractors
  • Can create invoices
  • Can view assigned payments
  • Limited access to reports

Viewer

  • Read-only access
  • Can view contractors and payments
  • Cannot create or modify anything

Custom Permissions

Fine-tune access with custom permissions:

  • Can Approve Payments: Approve payment requests
  • Can Manage Contractors: Add, edit, delete contractors
  • Can Manage Team: Invite and remove team members
  • Can View Reports: Access financial reports
  • Can Export Data: Export data to CSV/Excel

Managing Team Members

  1. Go to OrganizationsTeam
  2. View all team members with their roles
  3. Actions:
    • Edit: Change role or permissions
    • Remove: Remove from organization
    • Resend Invitation: Resend invitation email

Multi-Organization Support

Users can belong to multiple organizations:

Switching Organizations

  1. Click organization name in top navigation
  2. Select organization from dropdown
  3. Dashboard updates to show selected organization

Organization Isolation

Each organization has separate:

  • Contractors
  • Payments
  • Invoices
  • Team members
  • Settings
  • Billing

Organization Dashboard

View organization overview:

  • Active Contractors: Total number
  • Monthly Spend: Total payments this month
  • Pending Invoices: Invoices awaiting approval
  • Team Members: Number of team members
  • Recent Activity: Latest payments and invoices

Billing

Subscription Billing

  • Monthly Billing: Charged on the 1st of each month
  • Per-Contractor Pricing: $15 per active contractor
  • Prorated Charges: New contractors prorated for partial months
  • Automatic Billing: Charged to payment method on file

Viewing Invoices

  1. Go to OrganizationsBilling
  2. View billing history
  3. Download invoices as PDF
  4. Update payment method

Upgrading/Downgrading

Change your plan:

  1. Go to OrganizationsSubscription
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. Select new plan
  4. Confirm changes
  5. Billing adjusts automatically
